The Robinie Golf Club

Lombardy

The Robinie Golf Club is the only one in Italy to bear the umistakable trademark of Jack Nicklaus, “The Golden Bear”. This golf course is a landscaping masterpiece full of hollows, bunkers and terraces, a challenging field where everybody can play everywhere regardless of their skill level, from amateurs to professionals.

The field’s varied layout pushes players to try all kinds of swings.
It enjoys a strategic position only 10 minutes away from the Milano Malpensa airport and 30 minutes from the Center of Milan.

San Domenico Golf Club

Apulia

The San Domenico Golf green is close to Savelletri. It borders the sea coast and its unique rocky shores. It is surrounded by olive groves and cultivated fields, where the land was once flat. Now this 18-hole green meanders through gentle slopes, making for an unforgettable experience for golfers who can admire the Adriatic Sea.
The Bari airport is 60 km north, while Brindisi is only 50 km down south.

San Domenico Golf
San Domenico Golf is a classic link with typical Mediterranean vegetation. Golfers can admire the crystal clear sea from any hole, with a constantly blowing sea breeze. A fascinating note: the green borders the Egnatia archaeological site (V century B.C.), an ancient Roman center.

Designed by European Golf Design in London, under the guidance of Jeremy Slessor and the signature of Andy Haggar, the San Domenico Golf follows highest USGA standard and has now become a sought after course for national and international tournaments, also for important finals.

The green is perfectly fit for the surroundings, and the lawn choice is very accurate: fairways use Bermuda, roughs use festuca, while greens are made with pencross, which makes for a very fast surface. Greens are rather big, slopes are not deceitful but not easy to tame.

The most particular holes: hole 3, par 3 at over 200 meters, with an enchanting view but highly difficult, since the shot is towards the sea and often opposite to the wind; hole 7, a great par 4 ending with a centenary olive grove; hole 16, a par 5 very close to the sea and also the longest at 560 meters.

This course belongs to the San Domenico Hotel Group, a small world made of typical Apulian hospitality with diverse hotel offers. On top of their resorts there is the Masseria San Domenico, a magnificent hotel with a unique and timeless allure, sporting one of the best Thalassotherapy Spas in Italy. Masseria Cimino is a small treasure inside the Apulian countryside, renowned for its traditional cuisine and contemporary design. Borgo Egnazia is the visionary interpretation of a typical Apulian village, all built using turf stones and surrounded by millenary olive groves; it hosts the Vair “alchemy” Spa with its unique “life-changing” experiences. Masseria Le Carrube, at the foot of the Ostuni hills, allows to immerse oneself in nature and rural traditions. Finally, the San Domenico House is a fine townhouse in the heart of Chelsea, in London.

In particular, Borgo Egnazia, Masseria San Domenico and Masseria Cimino are near the golf course, offering guests a chance to savor a unique vacation, relaxing and practicing sports among the hills and the seaside, immersed inside the Apulian countryside.

GC Golf Club I Girasoli

Piedmont

On this golf course, nature is the main star. In fact, all the fairways were built respecting the natural undulations of the terrain and the local grass. Only on the greens and minimally, indispensable products are used for their care, selected in a not harmful range.

The 18-holes par 71 course, very technical and rich of water hazards is surrounded by forests, vineyards and orchards in a gently hilly countryside. The atmosphere of the club is very informal. The average age of the members, definitely low for a golf club. Suites and apartments for stay & play, a typical restaurant with outdoor terrace overlooking the pool, parties, barbecues, and the distance from any kind of noisy road are the highlights of I Girasoli.

The club house provides catering services with an excellent restaurant that develops the local traditions of food and wine with flair and impeccable hospitality. Together with the surrounding area, the course, overlooking the spa facilities and on the outskirts of the mediaeval town, offers an ample variety of opportunities for fine dining, recreation, cultural activities, sports and music that allow guests to enjoy a pleasant and unforgettable stay.

Argenta Golf Club

Emilia Romagna

Argenta’s picturesque golf course features 18 holes and is located between Ferrara and Ravenna, 40 min from the sea and from Bologna. It is surrounded by the Po Delta regional park, near the Argenta  natural reserve Valle Santa. The ideal location to meet sport, tourist, cultural and gastronomic demands. The course is integrated into the surrounding area following its rolling terrain and river banks. Water hazards, low dunes with groves, local essence bushes and six elevated teeing grounds are the main features of this technical and varied track. Designed by Giovanni Trasforini in 1991, with strengthened grounds and luxuriant trees, the golf club has hosted  Emilia Romagna regional championships, junior and professional tournaments. In 2012, following the change of ownership, new investments on the Argenta Golf Club have led to a series of improvements. The scenic landscape, the track, the new organization, the quality of accommodation and the friendliness of the people all contribute to choosing  this striking course for their golfing needs.

Adriatic Golf Club Cervia

Emilia Romagna

The 27 holes of this charming club wind their way through uncontaminated pinewoods and salt lakes in a setting of rare natural beauty just a short distance from the sea. The first nine holes, along the pinewood, were built as classic Scottish links, whilst the second nine, surrounded by water obstacles, were inspired by the great American courses. The third nine holes, which opened in 2004, boast a completely innovative design that guarantees that the course is extremely enjoyable. The Italian Professional Championships have been held here on several occasions, as have all the most important Italian amateur competitions. A Mecca for international tourism, the golf club is surrounded by tourist facilities including top-class hotels.
