Day 1 – arrival in Verona
Arrival at the Verona Golf Club, check in at charming country-house Le Casette and settle down.
Enjoy a complimentary drink at the clubhouse bar later today.
Day 2– Play Verona GC
After breakfast set out for your first round of golf at Verona Golf Club, one of the most exclusive private golf in the region that is still quiet and attended only by members. Verona Golf laid out in two stages by John Harris, in a British parkland style consistent with the architect’s own style. Afternoon is free for you to explore the close attractions: charming Borghetto sul Mincio is only 15 min drive away as well it offers great opportunity for a dinner on its famous tortellini.
Day 3 – Play Montecchia GC and visit Padua
After breakfast, travel south for your next golf course: Montecchia Golf Club. Designed by Tom Macauley, President of the British Association of Course Architects, is a modern course spread over 90 hectares and located near the sumptuous villa of Conte Emo Capodilista. This highly technical course is extremely competitive and fun to play, being also gently undulating. After golf you can enjoy a detour to close by city of Padua, recently awarded in the UNESCO heritage list.
Day 4 – Vicenza and play Golf Club Colli Berici
After breakfast travel for about 45 min to reach the peak of Colli Berici, overlooking the plain and the city of Vicenza. Enjoy your round at this highly technical course, whose main feature of the course is the changing altitudes and undulating progress: precision and good playing strategy is all you need. After your round take your time for a stroll in Vicenza, another UNESCO heritage site before getting back to your hotel.
Day 5 – Golf Club Padova, the Euganean Hills and wine
After breakfast travel south again to play at the gorgeous Golf Club Padova. Designed by the course architect John Harris from the Cotton Studio based in London, this 18-hole par 72 course plays along the base of Colli Euganei Hills and the first impression is one of technical and natural harmony, more than 8000 plants has been chosen to increase the game charm. Consistently rated among the 20 best courses in Italy, Padova Golf Club has hosted a number of major Italian Championship and Opens over the last thirty years. The Clubhouse is a pride of the club hospitality and the restaurant deserves a specific mention, as it is well-known in the region and among golf aficionados. After golf you can travel to a very excellent wine estate in the close proximity of the golf for an exceptional wine tasting of the first Italian DOC.
Day 6 – free day in Verona or Lake Garda
Today is free for you to relax or go on your own to explore amazing Verona or take a leisure day by the shore of Lake Garda.
Day 7 – play Verona Golf Club
Today is for your second round at Verona Golf Club. Spread among the vineyards which frame the Custoza hills, this golf club and course offer a traditional golf experience. Established in 1963 as a 9-Hole, the course was afterwards completed into a pristine 18 holes technical course nestled inside a thick vegetation and an immaculate landscape.
Day 8 – departure
Time to say farewell to Verona: enjoy your breakfast before checking out and departure. Arrivederci!
