Golf Club Venezia is located on the extreme southern tip of the island of Lido di Venezia: from some of the holes it is possible to have a sensational view of the lagoon and Venice. With its elegant layout, constructed on sand dunes, it is certainly one of the few links courses in Italy. Water hazards and fine vegetation consisting of trees make this course even more difficult and fascinating, with its greens designed with modern criteria, broad and with steep slopes, with natural sand bunkers protecting the objectives. The starting point for hole 1 is located above an ancient fortress and winds its way from there in a path that proceeds admirably from there through nature and the vegetation.
