The Golf Club Riva dei Tessali  is located near Castellaneta , at the heart of  Magna Graecia , 46 km from  Taranto  and around 70 km from  Bari .

This 18-hole course, par 71, has a total length of 5960 meters, and was designed by the British architect John D. Harris and the Associated Italian Office with Marco Croze. Inaugurated in 1968, the green benefits from an enchanting position on the Ionian Sea, and is surrounded by a charming Mediterranean pine wood. Since many decades, the Golf Club Riva dei Tessali  is part of the “ Challenge Tour” , and hosted the “ South Tessali Open ” for the 17 th time. It sports a Driving Range and a Pitch-Green. Holes 1 and 18 are around a beautiful Club House , with an administrative office and a restaurant with typical regional cuisine. Near holes 9 and 10 there is the “ I Comignoli “ snack bar.
