Golf Nazionale is the official Golf Club of the Italian Golf Federation.
Thanks to the technical quality and the pleasantness of the golf course, as well as the charm of the Club House, Golf Nazionale is considered among the best European golf courses. The club hosted several highly prestigious events including the World Cup in 1991.
Within the 70 hectares property lies the official headquarters of the National Golf School. The future teachers, directors and club secretaries, superintendents and greenkeepers are trained here, the key figures for any successful Golf Club.
The course, designed by George & Jim Fazio and David Mezzacane, lies In the suggestive natural landscape of upper Lazio and respects the principles of eco-sustainability with the new generation of Bermudagrass on the fairways.
The holes are technical and the design very challenging. The undulating ground and the horseshoe-shaped ditch that runs through the property are perfectly integrated into the design of the individual holes as well as the centuries-old oak trees characterising the entire course.
