Castello di Spessa Golf & Country Club is situated in the magnificent surroundings of the Spessa Castle secular park, an 18 hole golf course designed by the well-known architect Giacomo Cabrini. The course is immersed in the Collio hills of Gorizia and is characterised by various panoramas that differentiate the structure of the fairways and holes that are very different from each other. The bunker at the 4th hole is particularly difficult, a par 4 with a green protected by two water obstacles and a large bunker.

The Castello di Spessa Golf Country Club is dominated by a delightful Castle dating back to the XIII century and now offers 15 rooms furnished with antique furniture that overlooks the extended vineyards surrounding the trail.

The club house, located in a strategic position on the course with a panoramic terrace and a quiet relaxing lounge, offers a vast car park and the bar restaurant Hosteria del Castello. Not to be missed are the Bistrot Il Gusto di Casanova, in an intimate room in the castle with culinary excellence food of Friuli, and La Tavernetta al Castello, a gourmet restaurant with meat dishes and seafood and 10 rooms. Through renovation of an old farmhouse in the middle of the vineyards, Castello di Spessa Golf&Country club offers as well six quiet apartments that overlook the course.
