A mansion built in the seventeenth century overlooks the crater of an extinct volcano. The residence, originally commissioned by Cardinal Flavio Chigi, is now considered the most charming among golf clubs. The crater, thanks to the creative Robert Trent Jones Sr., has been transformed into a challenging golf course with interesting technical features. The natural ground has been enriched by 93 bunkers among centenarian olive trees, oaks and cluster pines.
The balcony of the club offers a fascinating and complete view of course that allows you to embrace the 18 holes in a single suggestive look giving the feeling of an intimate and evocative atmosphere, while four centuries of history permeate the solemn walls of the club house.
Inside and in the garden In Summer the restaurant delights golfers and guests with the creative cuisine of the chef Simone Succini, who with great passion revisits the regional cuisine.
