The Casentino is in Tuscany, the first valley of the Arno river located north of Arezzo, 55 km from Florence. The golf course is set in a unique natural and landscape setting at 500 meters above sea level with a view of castles, Romanesque parish churches, the La Verna and Falterona mountains and the Casentinesi Forest National Park.
The Club has an 11-hole Par 72 course of 5550m (slope 130); two more holes are below with 2 more holes being restyled. The 18-hole completion project is expected to be completed within the next 3 years.
The publicly owned course, inaugurated in 1987, has a hilly layout with all the holes characterized by natural obstacles, great fun for every type of golfer. In almost 40 years of activity it has become a point of reference for golf holidays in Tuscany. One hundred receptive structures of all levels and the peculiarities of the territory offer pleasant stays, with gastronomy and local crafts (above all the “Casentino woolen cloth”).
The stone-built Clubhouse houses the reception, changing rooms, shop, bar and pizza restaurant.
