The course

Situated on the gentle hills of Salsomaggiore and set in a natural paradise of 70 hectares, Salsomaggiore Golf & Thermae is the ideal place for a holiday break in a haven of peace and quiet, far from the noise and bustle of city life. The club, managed since 2011 by the International Golf Corporation, has been fully refurbished and now has a host of novelties, both for the game and for the services offered to guests. The course with its 18 championship holes winds through a silent and spectacular valley, due not only to the delightful landscapes but also to the playing challenges it offers.

Undulating fairways and fast greens allow players of all levels to test their skills on a course that has been perfected even further, under the constant care of the greenkeepers. Golfers can take advantage of services able to satisfy all needs, making the course truly complete, with a putting green and pitching green, a comfortable club house, a swimming pool with sun terrace, a restaurant and a pro shop. Less expert players can improve their game on the practice course, followed by coaches Alberto Limonta and Norbert Aziaga.

The club house, now refurbished in an elegant and sophisticated style, offers enjoyable surroundings dominated by the light colours of the furnishings and large picture windows that overlook the course and the nearby hills, and it also has a terrace giving a breathtaking view of the Emilian countryside. All services at Salsomaggiore Golf & Thermae aim to ensure the maximum comfort and modernity, but without neglecting local traditions, as in the club restaurant, for instance, which offers a variety of dishes of excellent quality, with specialities typical of both Parma and national traditions, and a wine list with an ample choice of labels, in a setting that has been renovated throughout, warm and welcoming in its simplicity.

The Head Professionals Alberto Limonta and Norbert Aziaga gives individual, group and golf clinic lessons for all players.
