Golf Club Le Fronde

Golf Club Le Fronde

The course

Where today there is a golf course, there once stood the Nobel dynamite factory of which there are still a few bunkers and other traces that are integrated into the course. Located at the mouth of Val di Susa, Golf Club Le Fronde stretches over 70 hectares, including both hilly and flat landscapes. The course is technically demanding and alternates between very challenging holes and others that are less difficult. The par of 71 for a course of around 6.000 m should not mislead anyone who doesn’t know the course, because the positioning of lakes, bunkers and centuries old trees requires great skill. The course: cool and breezy during the summer months, free from fog during the autumn. While in spring, the days are clear with an enviable temperature compared to Turin, which is just 25 km away and can be easily reached in less than half an hour.

More than golf in Piedmont

Golf Rivers and lakes

Piedmont is not on the seaside, but the sea is not essential to enjoy watersports. The Po, the most famous Italian river has its source in Piedmont, and hundreds of torrents and streams of water flow through the region.

Golf and Hills

Covering the hilly paths and roads of Piemonte means travelling far away from noise, immersed in a world of harmony and uncontaminated nature.

Golf and Cities

More than 1,206 of Italy’s 8,101 ‘comuni’ (towns) can be found within the borders of Piemonte; of these, over 600 have less than 1,000 inhabitants.

Golf and culture

Piemonte is rich in cultural, historical and artistic itineraries, crossing several centuries and covering each aspect of the region

Golf and Food & Wine

The food and wine tradition of Piemonte enjoys international fame, so much so that in restaurant rankings and in food and wine guides, the region always takes the top spots

Golf and Mountains

There is no better place to unwind and have fun than in the mountains of Piedmont.
