Golf Club La Margherita

Golf Club La Margherita

The course

Golf Club history
Affiliated since 1987, the Golf Club La Margherita was established as a “country club” on the initiative of a group of friends who were swept up by the enthusiasm and passion shown by two authentic local Piedmont and national-level golf legends: Luciano Roccia and Piero Cora. The veritable Golf Club was established as a result, which has grown over time by hosting national and international competitions.

The features of the golf course
In the industry rankings, ours is among the twenty best golf courses in Italy. The course includes 18 holes par 72 and runs for over 6 kilometres with a rather uneven tendency: the large and well cared for fairways are surrounded by water obstacles, while the fast and undulating greens are well protected by bunkers.

The design of the golf course was entrusted to Marco Croze, who realised, among others, the courses in Albarella and Riva dei Tessali, and Giorgio Ferraris; the latter also designed our modern and functional club house.

The golf course is located conveniently close to the city of Turin: by taking the Turin-Savona motorway – exit Carmagnola – you can arrive in even less time. The competition golf course is technical and challenging. Furthermore, it is always kept in perfect condition by our qualified and competent staff. Our facilities, all of which are renovated or undergoing renovation, are perfectly able to meet the needs of our members and guests

More than golf in Piedmont

Golf Rivers and lakes

Piedmont is not on the seaside, but the sea is not essential to enjoy watersports. The Po, the most famous Italian river has its source in Piedmont, and hundreds of torrents and streams of water flow through the region.

Golf and Hills

Covering the hilly paths and roads of Piemonte means travelling far away from noise, immersed in a world of harmony and uncontaminated nature.

Golf and Cities

More than 1,206 of Italy’s 8,101 ‘comuni’ (towns) can be found within the borders of Piemonte; of these, over 600 have less than 1,000 inhabitants.

Golf and culture

Piemonte is rich in cultural, historical and artistic itineraries, crossing several centuries and covering each aspect of the region

Golf and Food & Wine

The food and wine tradition of Piemonte enjoys international fame, so much so that in restaurant rankings and in food and wine guides, the region always takes the top spots

Golf and Mountains

There is no better place to unwind and have fun than in the mountains of Piedmont.
