The course

Located 18 kilometers from Bari on the Bari-Taranto highway, near Casamassima, this is an ideal position for main historical and artistic itineraries in Puglia. The Barialto Golf Club is connected with Ilbaricentro, a prominent businesses, trade and retail center spanning over 1,500,000 sqm, and Barialto, a small residential center considered a true open air museum for its unique architecture and contemporary urban design.

Rooms
The hotel has 26 rooms and 2 suites, furnished in an elegantly detailed and understated fashion. Suites are sensibly wider than regular rooms and have a quieter position. Each room has a TV, radio, a fridge with beverages and snacks, direct line telephone, fax, air conditioning and hair dryer. Some bathrooms have a shower and some others have a tub. Rooms and halls are very comfortable and sport modern frescoes; lights, vases, rugs and furniture are devised to create charming atmospheres.

Restaurant & bar
The bar has a grand piano also for guest performers, inside the breakfast room, which reflects the hotel’s style and is decorated with pastel colors and cosy furniture. The rich breakfast buffet includes cereals, hot brioches, jams & marmalades, biscotti, fresh fruit, yogurt, and freshly squeezed juices. A relaxing and comfortable environment for a peaceful wakeup.

The restaurant is run by the same company, offering exceptional local and international cuisine, and is located nearby  the Golf Club.

Services/Activities
The particularly pleasant weather conditions of this area allow playing golf and tennis all year round, also in autumn and winter thanks to beautiful sunny days and mild temperatures. Inside the vast, over 152,000 sqm park guests can  alternate relax and sports, with 6 clay tennis courts  with full night lighting. The Tennis Club offers courses and is open to private players.

Charming Hotel
A few minutes from Bari, the Barialto Golf Club was designed in collaboration between the American architect William W. Amick and the Italian Giorgio Ferraris. The green is 6,000 meters long and weaves around palm trees, centenary olive groves and five lakes with canes and water lilies. It is a variegated and  stimulating course, apt to all kinds of rods. Sand and water obstacles are strategically positioned but never too difficult to play, rewarding daring and resolute golfers.

The course is therefore suitable to diverse categories of players: from absolute beginners to passionate players and professionals seeking challenging rounds. The chosen grass is of tropical origins, it is the famous “Bermuda Grass”, as the one used across famous Florida and Central America greens, which perfectly fits the Mediterranean climates.

A charming Club House looking upon the Green, an aptly trained staff and the beautiful position make the Barialto Golf Club an unmissable location for any kind of player.
